Colour palettes for your next project
colour is ubiquitous and is a source of information. People make up their minds within 90 seconds of their initial interactions with either people or products. About 62‐90 per cent of the assessment is based on colours alone. So, prudent use of colours can contribute not only to differentiating products from competitors but also to influencing moods and feelings – positively or negatively.
Picking colours that match your brand — and what you want your consumers to think about your company and products — can be a powerful branding and marketing tool.
Color is a power which directly influences the soul.
~Wassily Kandinsky
Color Choices By Industry
Different companies and products choose different colours to identify their brand. But why? Colour isn’t just a more efficient way to grab the attention of your prospects and consumers. It’s a way to communicate with them on an emotional, almost subconscious level.

From color palettes to everything you could ever want to learn about color.
What I really like about MyColor.Space is its simplicity, and it’s clean UI. The colour palette generation tool allows you to choose a single colour from which the web app will spit out a variety of gradients and hex codes based on that colour. Furthermore, the web app also has some great gradient generation tools.
This list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Pantone, especially since they’re essentially the leading experts on colour. It turns out that they have a pretty cool app for putting palettes together. With the app, you can discover a variety of colour harmonies, values, and cross-references while spitting them out into RGB, CMYK, and HEX.
